The first image shows the Scholar Room, which is designed as part of a larger museum hall. This room is meant to be a throwback in time, to get an insight into the life of a Muslim scholar and his study, several hundred years ago.
The second image shows the the main room in which the players would start their journey. On the front wall is a map, showing the progress and the possible new levels to travel to, as well as an access to a balcony showing an overview of the surrounding landscape. There are multiple doors in this hub room, leading to places like the library or the museum.
The third image shows the entrance hall to the museum. The goal was to give this room a vast and impressive feeling, that would dignify the historic museum pieces that are exhibited in the museum hall.
I chose to use the entryway to the hall as an experience in itself, where the player would walk on a narrow pathway surrounded by water, atmospheric lighting and high walls. On the walls you can read the arabic names of god in the Islamic faith.
